Matriculation is the oldest continuously observed tradition at Trinity College. First-year students formally join Trinity as students by taking the Oath of Matriculation and signing the Matriculation register. First-year students must also sign the Student Integrity Contract prior to signing the official Matriculation register and commit to a code of honor that fosters moral growth and upholds academic and personal integrity.
