How are you as a public speaker? Ever feel nervous when addressing a large audience? Or are you confident enough to call your orating skills brilliant? Whether you deem yourself a superb speechmaker or just a fair one, come to this workshop to hone your skills, share feedback, and discover just how you are as an extemporaneous orator. This workshop can help prepare you to enter the impromptu speech competition this Sunday! You will have a chance to test your skills, observe other awe-inspiring speakers, laugh, and qualify to compete in the Joseph C. Clarke Public Speaking Contest. Several prizes for that competition, including a grand prize of $1,000, will be entrusted to each winner to contribute to a campus club/organization of his or her choice, which ultimately goes towards enhancing the campus climate.
